Need good Advice/suggestion!

Here is the Deal - I think that I have found something good! Last October, an idea struck me on a technique to pick stocks and it appeared to me initially, that this style of stock picking would give index beating results in pretty short-term (like weeks!). So I started spending sometime every week to pick a group of stock and track their performance. Initial results were good and so I started maintaining their performance in a Blog (http://SuperReturns.blogspot.com).

In this Blog, I kept the results of the stocks picked on November 8 and November 15. I had also made a portfolio of stocks on www.marketocracy.com for the stocks picked on November 15. Subsequently, I kept repeating the exercise for few more weeks (Nov 22, Nov 29, and Dec 6 - I even invested my own IRA money in the stocks picked on Nov 29). However, I noticed that my initial theory that I will be beating the market in shorter term did not come true. So I lost interest in making more of these stock-pickings and also slowed down on maintaining the Blog.

Marketocracy portfolio for stocks picked on November 15 can be seen on this link - cut and paste the whole link in your Browser (all the stocks in this Portfolio were bought on November 15 and no more trades have been made since then):

However, as I was noticing all these Portfolios of stocks that had been picked over many weeks, I noticed that each, and every one, of them was substantially ahead of the market now.

As of June 2, performance of these picks and comparative performance of the S&P indices has been as follows:

As of June 2PortfolioS&P 500S&P MidCapS&P SmallCap

Nov 2912.93%1.65%5.47%1.77%
Dec 617.28%0.93%4.75%0.63%

While, it has encouraged me to start running more tests now, but the reason I have kept payment for a good idea/suggestion is to figure out:

1. How do I make sure that I am running some solid tests and covering the possible scenarios

2. How do I make more money out of this ability! In a simple world, I think that if some people with 'real' money can observe these tests closely and later on invest and benefit out of it, then that may be the best way for me!! But it looks so impractical - can someone suggest more practical way of achieving the objective here.

Please send the suggestion by email to SuperReturns At gmail or leave suggestions on the Blog http://SuperReturns.blogspot.com

Thanks for your time to read this.
